BioWareDB.org is an attempt at collecting an exhaustive hyperlinked database links to the vast amounts of freely available and commercial bioinformatics and biocomputing software. The database consists of records obtained from automated harvesting of online repositories of software, from journals delving with bioinformatics software and from currated manual entries. The database is updated on a bi-monthly basis and links to the software are verified. |
